Drs. Joshua & Jessica Walker with Torri, Wylie & Finley

Drs. Joshua and Jessica Walker are licensed Chiropractors serving the Oceanside community.   They are proud to have a chiropractic clinic built around family and community outreach and are committed to promoting the optimal health and well being of their patients.

Drs. Joshua and Jessica Walker use a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, the Drs. Joshua and Jessica Walker are able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.

I first came to the San Diego area as a crewman aboard the USS Kitty Hawk.  It was during my stay in San Diego, that I decided to become a Chiropractor. Oceanside, in particular, always attracted me because of it's beautiful beaches, temperate climate and relaxing atmosphere. My wife, Jessica, and I have found Oceanside to be a warm and welcoming community and we are happy to show our appreciation to this wonderful city whenever we can.

Since opening our clinic in 2006 we have seen a lot of changes in a very short time. He have found that the best way to serve the Oceanside community is to maintain our presence on Coast Highway. When we first arrived in Oceanside there were three Chiropractic clinics on Coast Highway now it's just us. I think what we have done right is we have stayed true to ourselves and our profession. There are a lot of different pitches chiropractors use to get people to come back. Personally I look around and see a lot of used car lots on coast highway, we are not one them.  My way of thinking is give it a month if you're not feeling better I'm not the answer for you. If you are feeling better then stick with me and I'll stick with you.

Oceanside is a tough market that's probably why there aren't any other chiropractor on Coast Highway. Most people are either here for a short time or they work in different communities and of course this isn't La Jolla so disposable income is hard to come by. I look at this as all part of why I want to be in Oceanside. Here is where I can be, who I am. I am not a suit and tie kinda guy, I don't have a quick talking sales pitch and I may not be the guy to fix all of life's aches and pains. The thing that i can do is listen to whats wrong and give you a honest evaluation from a chiropractic point of view.

My fees are what they are and really I don't like talking money with patients . So my ideal patient is either personal injury (car accident), disabled veteran that we can get VA approval for, Rady's Childern's hospital patient or a cash patient who appreciates what I offer the community with no strings attached. There are lots of different insurances we accept and we try adding more all the time so let us know who you are and we'll do our best to help you.

You can always come in for a free consult.

Life is motion if you stop moving you're not long for this life.

I grew up with horrible migraines that would last for a day or more at a time. I remember well the sensitivity to light, the nausea, the unrelenting and debilitating pain. The assumption was that they were hormonal based, but nobody really could account for a reason as to why they were occurring. My doctors simply said I would grow out of it. So around age 18, they became less severe, but I would still get horrible headaches every other day. With the help of NSAIDS, Tylenol and aspirin, I just learned to live with the pain. The headaches became more severe migraine like again when I started to go back to college.
It wasn’t until I happened to visit a chiropractor (for a painful foot of all reasons) that I began to feel, what I soon learned was, “normal”. The Chiropractor had simply located my subluxations in my spine and feet and so corrected them through adjustments. After my first few visits, my foot pain was gone and I was amazed. I was amazed because previously I had visited a podiatrist who wanted to charge me thousands of dollars for everything from orthotics to neuroma surgery on my foot. For a student with no insurance that was too hefty a price to pay. I was also amazed because not long after seeing the Chiropractor, I also began to notice I had no need to pop my precious over the counter pain pills anymore. My headaches became less severe and frequent until they were finally gone. What a nice surprise! I never expected that to happen.
My horrible studying posture, in addition to other body stressors, had made me vulnerable to the headaches. So clearly, school was giving me a headache! But school didn’t give me a headache anymore after completing my treatment program with my Chiropractor. After all those years of feeling sick, I couldn’t believe the answer was as simple as getting regular chiropractic adjustments.
That experience changed my life forever and so I felt a need to spread the chiropractic word by becoming a Chiropractor. Along the way I met my wonderful husband, Dr Josh Walker. We both attended and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, Ca, and now have three beautiful children. Our practice is based on a combination of diversified techniques and nutritional protocols in order to obtain the most optimum quality outcome for our patients.
We love living and working in Oceanside. It’s got the beautiful surf, sand, sun and it’s a great place to raise children. We look forward to growing with this promising community and bringing pain relief to Oceanside.
